100th Day of School

We start school in early August so the 100th Day of School is here already and it's only the second week of school back from Winter Break! There was so much to do and not alot of time! First I have my lovely instructional aide staple the streamers to the bottom of my door decoration. I took it home and painted on the dining room table. I also added "aged" pictures of my students that took using the Aging Booth App. They came out so stinkin' cute! Even my own two kiddos had fun "aging" themselves. I found cute glitter number stickers at Dollar Tree to add as well. I think the door poster came out pretty darn good if I don't say so myself!

A last minute idea came from Pinterest. I made "Retirement Home" name badges!

Here I am with the kids that dressed up before all the fun began!
In all 17 out of my 29 students participated in some way.
Hope you all have a great 100th Day of School!

Elf in the Classroom Linky Party

I'm linking up with Mel B from Seusstastic
and Michelle from Apples & ABC's!

This is the first day we discovered our elf. We tried naming him and couldn't decide. This is until a 1st grader asked if "Cheeky" had arrived. I told my kinder kids and I guess Cheeky will be his name since my previous students still have those memories!

This day we found Cheeky "hanging around" with my monkey decorations!

Thanksgiving Counting Freebie using Touch Math Numbers

Thanksgiving Numbers
I still have kinder kids who are having trouble associating a number to the quantity they are counting. I created this counting worksheet so that my kinder kids can have a visual right on their paper. I hope it'll help your kiddos too! Happy Thanksgiving!
